Can you replace and program Toyota keys if all keys are lost?
Yes. We can supply, cut, and program replacement Toyota keys and remote fobs even when all keys are missing. Using advanced EEPROM programming techniques, we can often create new keys without replacing expensive ECUs, immobilisers, or lock sets.
How do you unlock your Toyota when the smart remote key won’t work / battery dies?
Take the emergency blade out of your Toyota smart key fob by pressing the small release button on the side of the remote. Unlock the car manually. Then to start the Toyota vehicle, take the ’T’ emblem / Toyota badge on the back of the fob and press the start button with your foot on the brake. The antenna inside the start button reads the transponder in the Toyota remote key directly allowing you to start the car.
Lost All Toyota Keys? Do I Really Need a New ECU, Immobiliser & Locks Replaced?
Absolutely not. In most cases, there is no need to replace the ECU, immobiliser unit, or door locks simply because all Toyota keys have been lost.
For over 10 years, we’ve specialised in advanced Toyota EEPROM key programming. This allows us to extract and write immobiliser data directly from the vehicle’s existing control units, enabling us to create and program new keys without replacing expensive components.
This specialist process can save you a significant amount compared to dealership solutions that often involve replacing multiple control units and lock sets.
We can also reconfigure your existing locks to work with the new keys, helping you avoid the cost of purchasing a complete replacement Toyota lock set.
